Sen. Pat Vance
visits the Audubon Hawk Watch at Waggoner's Gap to discuss the Cliff Jones Field
Station. In addition, she goes to Opossum Lake for a major funding announcement.

May 2008 - Sen. Pat Vance visits George Weston Bakeries in
Carlisle. The business produces a million donuts each week.

January 2008 - This month Senator Vance visits The Stanley Shop in
Wellsville as Charles Johnson nears competition of the restoration of a Stanley
Steamer.

Capitol Rotunda, Senate and House members called on the Governor to stop holding
state workers hostage in order to get his initiatives through the Legislature.
  
June 9, 2008 - At the
state Capitol today State Sen. Pat Vance honored 123 girls in central and
northeastern Pennsylvania for earning their Gold Award, the highest achievement
in Girl Scouting.

Senator Pat Vance spoke on the important role home health care plays in
maintaining the health and well-being of our senior citizens at the Bayada
Nurses Day Rally held in the Capitol Rotunda. Bayada Nurses employs over
12,000 nurses, home health aides and therapists across the country.
